High altitude Ethiopian Arabica beans are grown in the region of Harar in Ethiopia's Eastern Highlands. The Harrar beans are grown mainly on high, small peasant plots and farms similarity to Longberry Harrar, at around 2,000m above sea level. The sun-dried beans are pointed in shape and golden in colour, there are three types of Harrar beans and it is the Longberry variety which is the largest and the finest.
When roasted, the beans reveal delightful fruit and mocha flavours which create superb, full-bodied drinks.
