Chicory comes from the Cichorium intybus plant and once roasted has a coffee like aroma but not flavoured.
A tasty compliment to coffee or simply drink as a caffeine free hot drink by itself, it has strong, toasted, nutty flavours with a hint of sweetish caramel.
